Why Every Pet Needs a Regular Veterinarian
Even with the best care, sometimes pets need a little extra help after hours.

✅ Persistent bleeding from the incision that won’t stop with gentle pressure
✅ Swelling, redness, or discharge (pus, foul odor) at the surgery site
✅ Excessive licking or chewing at the incision (even with an e-collar on)
✅ Loss of appetite or refusing food/water for more than 24 hours
✅ Vomiting or diarrhea lasting more than 12–24 hours
✅ Lethargy or weakness that seems out of character and doesn’t resolve within 24-48 hours
✅ Labored or heavy breathing
✅ Pale gums
✅ Signs of pain such as whining, trembling, or hiding 72 Hours after surgery
✅ No urination within 24 hours after surgery
✅ Annual exams to track your pet’s health and detect issues early
✅ Vaccinations and preventives (heartworm, flea/tick) to keep them protected year-round
✅ Continuity of care — your vet knows your pet’s full medical history
