PawDoc Hits It Out of the Park with the Sugar Land Space Cowboys
It’s been a busy baseball season for PawDoc Surgery + Dental Center – and recently, a couple of familiar Space Cowboys faces stopped by the clinic for a visit.
Orion and Muffin, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys’ official Bat Dog, traded Constellation Field for PawDoc for the day. The visit gave the PawDoc team a chance to spend some time with two of the team’s most recognizable personalities, snap plenty of photos and, of course, make sure Muffin looked the part in his very own PawDoc jersey.
Muffin joined the Space Cowboys roster for the 2026 season as the team’s five-year-old Golden Retriever Bat Dog, retrieving bats during select home games and greeting fans around the ballpark. When he isn’t working the crowd at Constellation Field, he also serves as a comfort dog in the Fort Bend County community.
The visit was just one part of PawDoc’s season-long partnership with the Sugar Land Space Cowboys.
Throughout the 2026 season, PawDoc has been joining fans at Constellation Field for games and special events, including Bark in the Park, and meeting local pet owners at the PawDoc table.
PawDoc is also the presenting partner of Muffin the Bat Dog, who has made appearances at Space Cowboys home games throughout the season.
For PawDoc, the partnership has been a natural fit. Baseball brings families together, and in Sugar Land, plenty of those families include four-legged members, too. It has also given the PawDoc team a chance to get outside the clinic and introduce more local pet owners to a different option for veterinary surgery and dental care.
